The DIR-855 Media router is one of the latest product of D-Link, the developers and manufacturers of networking, broadband and digital electronics products. This router supports Dualband wireless signal, which helps the users to browse the Internet thru the 2.4 GHz band and watch High Definition movies or other media thru the 5GHz band.
The router uses a Mediaband technology which avoids interruptions or slowdown which may occur in current wireless technologies like 802.11g.
The Router costs $298.99. The product comes with a 1 year warranty (US and Canada only) . The product is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2 or Mac OS X (v10.4).
The package contents include the Router, 3 Detachable Antennas, CAT5 Ethernet Cable, Power Adapter, CD ROM (for installations in Windows).
